The Special One was sacked by Manchester United in December following strings of poor results which saw the club occupying the sixth spot in the Premier League standings. Mourinho has been linked with a number of clubs including FC Porto, a club it was reportedly turned down. His former club Real Madrid also wanted his services but the Los Blancos opted to resign Zinedine Zidane. Chelsea and Inter Milan are other clubs the Portuguese has been linked with and now he seems to have given insight into his plans though stating he is not in hurry to make a decision.

“It’s been three-and-a-half months since I last managed a club and I am preparing to (wait) again,” he told BeIN Sports.

“When you are in the world of football, between press conferences, games, video sessions, match analysis and daily problems, you never have time for yourself. I have therefore used the last few months to reboot. The position of a coach is special and I enjoy the daily work. I want to return this summer, starting from June, for the beginning of the season.
