Manchester United sharp-shooter injured on International duty?

Bad news for Marcus Rashford and Manchester United

There is bad news for Manchester United as Marcus Rashford is currently a huge doubt for England’s Euro 2020 qualifying opener after sitting out training. The Manchester United star’s potential absence is likely to hand Jadon Sancho a start, with Callum Hudson-Odoi’s chances of featuring off the bench boosted.

Rashford, 21, has been playing through the pain barrier since injuring his ankle against Liverpool in February. And he now looks set to be given extra time to recover by not lining up against the Czech Republic tomorrow ahead of the trip to Montenegro on Monday.

His injury could open the door for Sancho, 18, to make his full debut after two substitute appearances last year. The Borussia Dortmund ace is believed to be lining up on the opposite flank to Raheem Sterling after training brilliantly.

Hudson-Odoi, who is with the senior squad for the first time, has also been impressing and could make his debut off the bench. The 18-year-old has shown glimpses of his immense potential for Chelsea but needs more game time.
