Gospel musician, Ringtone Apoko, has come out to defend himself that he has not paid anyone to expose him. He has been making headlines with his controversial ways of seeking attention. What remains unclear is whether the allegations of him having denied his daughter support is true or he has just paid Xtiandela to make him the top of headlines with cooked up story.
Defending himself, he said; “Press release …….I HAVE NOT PAID XTIANDELA TO EXPOSE ME SO THAT HE MAKES ME POPULAR. HE IS JUST DOING HIS JOB. Stop spoiling my good name and that of Xtiandela .This matter is serious and Kenyans deserve an answer.”
A lady exposed Ringtone if having neglected his daughter, a child she delivered 8 years ago. She said that she became pregnant with him but on breaking the news to him, he was not ready for the responsibilities and asked her to terminate the pregnancy.
The lady however did not do this as her conscience could not allow her. 9 months later she reached out to Ringtone again, who then demanded for a DNA test but never showed up for the test. Even without the DNA test the baby girl apparently took after her dad; and after the lady sent out the baby photo to Ringtone, he withdrew from taking the DNA test.
