Kenya Emerges Happiest Country In East Africa! Spread The Joy

UN Released a list of the happiest country to the unhappiest on the International Day of Happiness on March 20.

The report warned that world happiness has declined in recent years, driven by a sustained fall in India, which this year ranked in 140th place.

The unhappiest nation was South Sudan, where the UN recently said 60 percent of people face food insecurity following a bloody civil war which has claimed the lives of an estimated 400,000 people.

Finland ranked as the world’s happiest country for the second year running while war-torn South Sudan sank to the least contented in a United Nations report released on Wednesday.

Our own Kenya Emerged the happiest country in East Africa beating all other four countries despite challenges of drought and food insecurities.

Kenya topped in East Africa taking the 121st position, Uganda 2nd in 136th position, Burundi 3rd 145th position, Rwanda 4th in 152nd position, Tanzania in 5th position in 153rd position while South Sudan became last taking the 156th position, the rankings were made on 156 countries which Finland topped in the 1st position.

The other Nordic countries, as well as the Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada, New Zealand and Austria also made the top ten.
