Arsenal is not willing to sign Denis Suarez permanently from Barcelona in the summer when his loan contract with the Gunners comes to an end.
In fact, Unai Emery is looking to concentrate on alternative signings for the summer transfer period and has no intention of making Suarez’s deal permanent for £20m.
The Spanish talent has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in Emery’s first-team thus far. He is yet to make a start for Arsenal since sealing a loan move from Barca during the January transfer window.
The Sun also stated that Emery wants to give Suarez a chance to shine in the Premier League but believes that the player is struggling to cope with the physical toll of English football.
The 25-year-old has made six appearances for Arsenal this term but is yet to score or assist for them so far. The Spanish midfielder has not been impressive at all during his time on the pitch, so it is no surprise that the Gunners are unwilling to keep him at the club beyond this season.
