Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja alongside Embakasi MP Babu Owino have come out as a united front to defend residents of the Embakasi area who are being forcefully evicted from their homes.
According to Babu, residents from Chokaa area in Mihango Ward were last week driven from their homes despite having legal occupancy, govt permits and titles.
The MP sounded a warning to the perpetrators of the land grabbing saying, “We will meet you head on and deal with you perpendicularly!”
Senator Sakaja, who was also part of the meeting addressed the demolitions, as well as Kenya Power wrangles with the residents.
