Terror Attack in Manhattan leaves 3 Injured

The three men shot were injured in the incident around 8pm local time yesterday two of them critically. Police were called to East 112 Street and Third Avenue in Lower Manhattan. Dozens of ambulances and police cars were seen on the scene. New York hospitals were put on “citywide” alert and police sent a “Level 1” response.

There have not yet been any arrests. This comes after a spate of high-profile shootings across the world. In Utrecht, Netherlands, yesterday three people were killed in a gun attack on a tram. While 50 died in a horrific mass shooting at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, last week. Both have been named terror attacks. The status of the gunman is unclear and police have not provided an update. Local news service 1010 WINS quoted sources saying the shooting may be gang-related.

According to local reports, two 18-year-olds and a 23-year-old were shot in East Harlem. All three are now in a stable condition.
