Mombasa County has announced its efforts to strengthen relationship with Asia
This comes after the Chief Executive Committee Member in Charge of Trade, Tourism and Investment;Mr Rashid held discussions with Mr. Perry Fung – Regional Director, Middle East and Africa of Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
The officials discussed matters trade and tourism and the possibility of increasing tourist numbers from the Asian continent to Destination Mombasa.
Mr Rashid also outlined the myriad opportunities available in Mombasa and how they can deepen their investment in fisheries; especially deep sea fishing and as well the export of sea food into Asia from Mombasa.
This relationships will go a long way in benefiting both regions in terms of economical development as well as giving a boost in the common areas where they will agree on working together.
