A flight attendant had died immediately after resuming duty. She was among the 157 people on board the Boeing 737 MAX 8 that crashed in a fireball six minutes after take-off, leaving no survivors.
She had been in a long maternity leave after suffering complications after giving birth to their son.
According to her husband, she could leave for nairobi in the morning and return to Addsis ababa afternoon.
He could drop her at the airport in the morning and pick her in the afternoon.
“She particularly liked this flight as she went to Nairobi in the morning and came back to Addis Ababa in the afternoon. We could spend special family time with our son together.”the husband revealed.
On that fateful day the husband dropped her in the morning hoping to pick her in the afternoon just like always but this was not to happen as she did not return.
In his raw grief he drove back to the airport to pick her up that afternoon, despite knowing she had been killed.” the husband by the name bahiye narrates.
The wife who was only 29 years old, died in the Ethiopian airplane leaving behind a 10 year old son by the name dani.
“What am I going to do now? He’s only 10 months old and he’s lost his mother. Our lives will never be the same again.” the husband said sobbing
