Who Will Be Chelsea Boss After International Break?

The speculation about the future of Sarri that had gone silent for a short time has been revived again after Chelsea’s defeat by Everton.

The Blues are sixth in the table and in danger of missing out on a top-four finish for the second season running.

And the Daily Express speculate that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich might use the international break to sack Sarri.

Head coach Sarri is under pressure after some dismal results – particularly away from home – and controversial team selections.

His team dominated the first half at Goodison Park but it was a totally different story after the interval and the 2-0 loss leaves Chelsea three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

“The players don’t know what happened in the second half,” Sarri said afterwards.

“I cannot explain it. We played the best first half in the season and we could have scored four or five and then suddenly we stopped playing.

“It’s very strange. We were in control of the match.”
