Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has time and again claimed that people have been spending a lot of time discussing him. “Breakfast: Kiunjuri; Lunch; Kiunjuri: Supper; Kiunjuri.”
He also claims that his name has been extensively damaged from being associated with corruption.
Kiunjuri has been mentioned adversely in a number of scandals that have rocked the country in the recent past. From the maize scandal, Kiunjuri is now trapped in the jaws of the Dams Scandal.
Last week saw the CS have a date with the DCI as the probe into the dams scandal continues.
After his session with the DCI detectives, Kiunjuri claimed that he is being used as a scapegoat by investigative agencies as he cleared himself of any blames.
I feel for Hon Kiunjuri, I really do. Two pieces of advice to the CS: One, people discuss you, sir, over food after seeing just how little is on the plate nowadays and two, if the kitchen is too hot, there’s always the option of stepping out. But what do I know? I don’t sell maize.
