This is Garry Neville’s Prediction That Angered Man United Fans

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has bizarrely predicted a scenario where fans will be asking for the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the future and he’ll be defending his former team-mate.

Neville has made his fair share of odd comments of late. Such an example was his statement that Liverpool should prioritise the Premier League above the Champions League as if teams can choose to win one and not the other.

Those comments were criticised by the likes of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and former Reds’ star Graeme Souness.

But his latest comments are closer to home and about caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has worked wonders since taking over at Old Trafford following the sacking of Jose Mourinho in December, but has now lost his last two games in all competitions.

United fans on Twitter this morning were debating where the club would be if Mourinho had been sacked earlier, with some taking aim at Neville for helping the 56-year-old last longer. The comments irked Neville and he responded in kind.

Neville posted on twitter, “When you’re all asking for Ole to be sacked one day I will support him also and disappoint you again. Sorry.”

United supporters will be hoping this situation never comes to fruition and certainly after his start to life as caretaker boss, Solskjaer has the Red Devils heading in the right direction.

Whilst the FA Cup defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers was a blow, United are firmly in the race for the top four and are in the last eight of the Champions League.
