Controversial Televangelist James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre was arrested for threatening Citizen TV boss Linus Kaikai over his church remarks.
Pastor Ng’ang’a threatened Mr Kaikai after he mebtioned that Kenyan Pastors should indeed have a theology degree before allowed to preach in Church.
To his response Ng’ang’a said, “I’m telling you like a Chief General commander, you have to stop that, if you don’t stop, I promise you will face the consequences.”
The video that went viral on social media has again seen him face the law after he was arrested while at his church along Haile Sellasie Avenue and locked up at Muthaiga Police Station after Kaikai had complained he felt threatened following video footage that the pastor produced attacking him.
Police said Ng’ang’a will be arraigned in court later on Monday.
Kaikai, who is a panelist in one of the news show, News Gang, went viral with his take seeking to regulate pastors he referred to as spiritual fraudsters and are profiting off unsuspecting Kenyans.
This prompted Ng’ang’a to shoot his video with the attacks aimed at Kaikai.
