Residents of Maili Sita trading centre in Bahati, Nakuru County, woke up to shocking news after a woman stad his son to death and attempted to commit suicide.
While confirming the incident, Nakuru North Police boss Jacinta Mwarania said that Sharon Wangari stabbed her son several times with a Kitchen knife at their home and later stabbed herself on the stomach before she was rescued by neighbours who found her unconscious lying on the floor.
In addition, “The woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Investigations are underway to establish the motive of the incident,”
In an interview with a local tv station the neighbours suspect that the woman killed her son and attempted suicide following a marital dispute with her husband who was not present at the scene.
