Paris Jackson, who is the second of the late Michael Jackson’s three children has distanced herself from the raging sexual accusations against her father,saying it is “not my role”.
“There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defence,” the model wrote on Twitter.
“Taj is doing a perfect job,” said Paris, who added that she supports her family’s efforts to clear her father’s name. . “I support him but that’s not my role.
Taj Jackson is Paris’ second cousin, who has led a media campaign against the documentary and is crowdfunding a rival film.
Even as fans have pressed her to show more public effort in defending her father, 20-year-old Paris insists that she is defending her father in her own way.
She further posed,”my father handled his trials and tribulations with grace, peace, and love. It’s a more effective way of life. I suggest we all take that as an example.”
This comes after the broadcast of Leaving Neverland, a documentary in which two men accused Jackson of sexually abusing them as children.
Leaving Neverland tells the stories of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who were befriended by Jackson as children and say he subjected them to years of abuse.
The Michael Jackson estate has hit back at the allegations, branding both accusers “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.
