Detectives have arrested 9 suspects linked to Maseno University robbery with violence following a series of reported cases.
The complaints of crime to the police informed of robbery with violence and gang rape of Maseno university students.
Yesterday DCI detectives acting on a tip-off arrested the suspects.
Other things that were confiscated during the arrest include stolen chairs, bhang, pangas & claw bars.
The detectives informed that other suspects escaped but are being pursued by the police.
The police have confirmed that the suspects are in lawful custody awaiting arraignment in court soon.
