For Manchester United, the last week has been a huge reality check. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been beaten in the last two – with the Red Devils dumped from the FA Cup while top four hopes are looking a little worse for wear.

A few powerful runs aside, Pogba just couldn’t get into the game. His passing was off, he decision-making was poor and, dare I say it, he was looking like the player he was under Jose Mourinho.
It has to be a cause for concern, although it’s too early to see that motivation is the problem, it does look as though Pogba allows his head to drop when things aren’t going his way.
The United fans on social media are seemingly echoing that view, too. It was a below-par performance, but at least now, he has two weeks of international football to try and get his head straight…
