The Director of Criminal Investigation George Kinoti has been on the receiving by Tanga tanga team aligned to the Deputy President William Ruto.
Tangatanga team have accused the DCI for being in bed with some top powerful individuals in the government making the war against graft unbiased.
But ODM have decided to jump on DCI Kinoti’s side to ensure that he is not threatened by the steaming political atmosphere.
ODM have urged the DCI to continue with the work of exposing the thieves;
“The war on corruption is real. No amount of name calling, mudslinging and character assassination will divert the attention of Kenyans from this. Thieves MUST be made to return the stolen money. We support the @DCI_Kenya@EACCKenya and the @DPPS_KE. Do your job,” ODM has stated.
This comes after Senator Kipchumba Murkomen called for sacking of DCI Kinoti for what he said that he is not independent.
