Man Utd face Wolves in the FA Cup and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is waiting for last minute fitness updates on a number of players.

Manchester United will be looking to book their place in the semi final of the FA Cup this weekend but first they will have to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers away.

United beat Chelsea in the last round to set up a tie against Premier League rivals Wolves and Solskjaer is still sweating on the fitness ahead of the Saturday evening game.

Phil Jones is fit again after almost a month out with illness but United are going to have to make a last minute decision on whether Ander Herrera of Jesse Lingard will be available.

Solskjaer seemed optimistic about Romelu Lukaku’s chances of making the game but Belgium national team coach Roberto Martinez said the forward would not be playing.

Ashley Young is suspended while Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez are still sidelined through injury.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial could both start vs Wolves.

With the FA Cup being United’s best chance of silverware this season Solskjaer needs to pick his strongest available side.

Romero is United’s cup goalkeeper and should keep his place ahead of David de Gea while the back four picks itself. With Young suspended Dalot should start at right back with Lindelof, Smalling and Shaw making up the rest of the back line.

United’s best midfield would be Pogba, Matic and Herrera but with there still doubts over Herrera’s fitness a better option would be Scott McTominay who has impressed in Matic’s absence.

With Lukaku a doubt a front two of Martial and Rashford looks most likely. Andreas Pereira would be a wildcard but could work well playing as a No 10 behind United’s front two having impressed in that role while out on loan.
