‘They Trust Their Own Way’ Ole Gunnar Solskjaer On What Manchester United Can Expect From Wolves

Speaking at his weekly press conference, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, gave his impressions on Wolves.

He stated: “That’s a testament of them, we talk about these teams, last season you were impressed with them then to go through the Championship as they did convincingly with the players.

“They had a clear plan didn’t get Championship players in, players above the Championship level and you can see that now in seventh trust their own way of playing, defended fantastically well against Chelsea but at home they take the game to the opponent with the great passing ability in the team.”

United go to Wolves with the possibility of being without star striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian international powerhouse is nursing an injury and will undergo a late fitness test, but it is thought he will miss the game.

Solskjaer said: “Yeah he’s had a sore foot this week he’s being assessed, so hopefully he’ll get through today.

“Phil Jones is back, there have been so many players out, Anthony (Martial) is back, Ander (Herrera) has been training, Jesse (Lingard) has been training and we’ve got a decision to make tomorrow on who’s match fit.”

Defender Ryan Bennett missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea due to suspension but he’s available for this cup clash. Romain Saiss stepped in at the back so Nuno will have to decide whether to reinstate Bennett or stick with the impressive Moroccan.
