Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has assured of his commitment to fuel development in the city with extensive road projects.
Sonko says that his administration through the department of Roads and Transport has prioritized the rehabilitation and construction of roads across the city to spur development.
The Governor also mentioned that currently there is an ongoing rehabilitation of Buruburu Phase 1 road access to estates and Kiambiu Village.
Within Kariobangi South Ward his administration has managed to construct several roads among them; Mahutini road, Access to Jamaa Hospital road near Uhuru.
Sonko added that the project is fully funded by the Nairobi City County Government and Nairobians should be free to raise complaints on the poor state of roads in their Wards so that they Government can take action.
Apart from the mentioned road projects the county has also been keen in implementing projects which will direct the city to a positive trajectory.
