Safaricom boosts the 100% primary-secondary transition

The outgoing Education Cabinet Secretary Amb. Amina Mohamed has on Friday presided over scholarships award ceremony where 100 students were honored.

Safaricom Foundation offered KES.4.7 million worth of secondary school scholarships to benefit 100 students from disadvantaged background across the country.

Amb. Amina congratulated the benefactors for their exemplary performance.

“It was such a great delight to receive the 100 scholarships from @SafaricomFDN for needy students in various secondary schools. I commend the 100 young recipients from all over the country for their exemplary performance during the (KCPE),” Said Amina

This programme is in tandem with the ministry of Educations commitment to actualize 100% transition of students from primary to secondary schools.
