Netizens have applauded the three members of the August house after they slammed the media for castigating the self proclaimed prophet Owuor.
The three include Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Igembe South MP John Paul Mwirigi and Nominated MP Gideon Keter.
According to Keter, “Some people want to ground the church, those who are saying pastors should have a degree are wrong.”
The MP was responding following a comment made in the media saying that pastors in Kenya should have a degree in theology to qualify to preach in church.
His sentiments were echoed by MP Babu Owino who revealed that he is a follower of Prophet Owuor, adding that the media erred by attacking him and the church.
However Babu’s remarks uproared a section of kenyans online who apparently were happy with him.
