Guardiola anticipates Barcelona vs United tie: ‘It will be two great games to watch’

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will certainly be happy to know City’s Champions League tie against Tottenham and Barcelona’s encounter with Manchester United will be played on separate nights.

City take on Spurs in London on April 9, while Barca travel to Old Trafford on April 10. The return legs are scheduled on April 16 for Barca vs United and April 17 for City vs Tottenham.

Guardiola won 14 trophies during his tenure at Barcelona including two Champions League crowns, both won against Man United. No wonder, Pep is so excited.

“Two incredible stadiums, incredible clubs, incredible players on both sides,” Guardiola said as quoted by the Manchester Evening News. “In the Champions League you get fascinating games and it will be two great games to watch.”
