Champions League draw Advantages Liverpool , Threat to City

Advantage Liverpool? Tough April for Man City after Champions League draw

Manchester City has received a dent in their quest to win the English Premier League for the second successive year after being handed league rivals Tottenham Hotspurs in the last eight of the UEFA Champions League.

In the month of April, City will travel to Wembley to take on Spurs on Tuesday 9 in the first leg of the quarterfinal tie before taking on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park five days later in the league; the team having suffered a shock defeat to the Roy Hodgson side in the first leg.

City will then host Spurs at the Etihad in the return leg of the Champions League three days after the Palace tie before hosting the same side on the same ground on the same ground two days later.

April will end for Man City with a tie against neighbours and rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday 24th.

City currently leads the EPL log with 74 points, just a point above Liverpool who are looking for their first league title since 1991.
