Manchester United’s highest earner Alexis Sanchez is willing to take a pay cut to force through an exit from the Red Devils, according to Daily Star.
The Chile international is yet to rediscover his form since leaving Premier League rivals Arsenal. Sanchez, who earns £500,000-a-week wages has failed to convince the club’s caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he should be in his future plans. The former Arsenal man is currently sidelined with a knee injury and Daily Star reports that the 30-year-old has grown tired of being on the fringes and has already told his representatives to find him a new club in the summer.
Sanchez’s current wages will definitely put a number of clubs but he is willing to reduce his costs in a bid to escape his Old Trafford hell. Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is planning talks with the former Barcelona attacker before the end of the season in order to assess their options regarding his future.
