The nominated CS Professor Magoha appeared on Thursday at the parliament for vetting before taking over the Education mantle.

The new Education CS is a no-nonsense guy as the first amendment he will make is raise university fees.
George Magoha agreed with the university Vice Chancellors pushing for fee increment, saying that it was necessary in order to meet the increasing expenditure.
Students studying under government sponsorship always pay Ksh 16,000 and lectures are proposing Ksh 48,000.
However, Magoha pointed out that fee increment should be done in consultation with all stakeholders including the students to ensure that the value of the new fee is reasonable and affordable.
Magoha is now vetted by parliament before he officially take the education mantle.
