See how your kinsmen fair on DPP list of corruption cases

Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Hajji on Wednesday publicly slammed claims that his probe into Kenya’s corruption targets particular tribes.

Mr Hajji on the Jeff Koinange Live show particularly gave numbers of each community on his list of graft investigations.

The numbers he broke down as so:

Kikuyu, who had the highest number of accused has 141 people, Kalenjin- 46, Luo- 56, Indian- 15, Kamba- 31, Luhya- 29, Kisii- 37, Swahili/Mijikenda- 34 and Embu- 5.

The DPP further urged Kenyans not to be stuck up on ethnicity, despite the ‘ubuntu’ culture.
