See How United Players Cannot Just Stop Praising Solskjaer

Luke Shaw has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the positive impression he has made on the Manchester United dressing room.

United have revived their season since the Norwegian coach took charge of the club on a caretaker basis last December, securing their passage to both the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League as well as rejuvenating dreams of a top four finish in the league.

Not only have the results improved under Solskjaer but the entire mood around the club has also been lifted.

England international Shaw is one such player to have enjoyed excellent form under the caretaker coach, and he believes this is mainly down to the new atmosphere among the players.

“It’s really positive, the mood in the camp is so good at the moment,” he told Premier League Productions.

“It’s really enjoyable to be around it, and all the positive stuff is, I feel, showing on the pitch with each player. Especially the ones that have come in and taken their chances.

“With the injured ones, I think everyone is trying to stake a claim for their name on the team sheet.

“I think that’s showing in the results, and that’s only good for us to have that competition in the team.”

Shaw started the season in fantastic form under the guidance of Jose Mourinho and has again seen his performances improve after tailing off midway through the campaign.

And the 23-year-old believes his recent resurgence has been partly down to a newfound confidence from his coach.

He added: “Ole’s been really good to me since the day he’s come in. What’s good with Ole is the way that he speaks to me off the pitch. He’s real positive manager and he makes me feel even more confident than I already am with some of the stuff he says to me.

“I’m sure it’s not just for me. He does it with a lot of the players and I see the difference in most of the team. So, not just me, but he helps others. I think that, as a manager, what he likes to do best is to help people improve, and to get the best out of the talent that he knows people have. He does that really well.”
