The Assistant Director in Counter Terrorism at the National Intelligence Service Hillary Mutyambai was Wednesday nominated as the next Inspector General of Police.
Outgoing police boss Joseph Boinnet was named the Chief Administrative Secretary ministry of tourism and tourism.
The changes were announced in an executive order number 4 of 2019.
Other state appointments include Wycliffe Ogalo as the Commissioner General, Kenya Prisons Service and Brig. Vincent Naisho Loonena as the Director General of the Kenya Coast Guard Service.

The President through the same order,formally appointed the new commissioners of the National Police Service Commission led by Chairperson Eliud Kinuthia.
The new commissioners are Lilian Mutio Kiamba, Eusebius Karuti Laibuta, Naphtaly Kipchirchir Rono, Alice Atieno Otwala and John Tentemo Ole Moyaki.
