The video went viral on social media after Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) made a hashtag to help Alex seek justice through #JusticeForAlloy.
In the video, the culprits are seen filming the ‘beating’ and grilling of Alex before they give him strokes.
“Unajua Angel ni dame ya nani?” whichtranslates to ” Do yo know whose boyfriend is Angel?” one of them asked.
The duo then mercilessly hit Alex on the face and rolled him down with strokes and kicks for what they said Alex was making out with their girlfriend.
The DCI replied swiftly and asked the victim to report the matter to the police station.
