Zidane targets two lethal EPL Stars

Zinedine Zidane wants to bring Eden Hazard and Christian Eriksen to Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.

The three-times Champions League winner was re-appointed as Los Blancos boss on Monday by Florentino Perez after Santiago Solari was relieved of his duties.

According to Italian publication Sport Mediaset, the Frenchman wants full control of transfers and the promise of another ‘Galactico’ era in the Spanish capital.

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is his preferred target ahead of mercurial Brazilian Neymar, although it is reported the 20-year-old would cost €350million.

With Karim Benzema linked with an emotional return to Lyon, Zizou would then turn his attention to €100m-rated Hazard and €80m-rated Eriksen.

After sensationally walking away from the Bernabeu after a third consecutive European triumph, Zidane is back in the Madrid hot seat after a disastrous season.

Julen Lopetegui was replaced by Solari in October, but the Argentine could not steady the ship as Ajax dumped the holders out of Europe at the round-of-16 stage.

Belgium captain Hazard has been linked with a switch to the Bernabeu for years and it seems as though the return of his hero Zidane will be the catalyst.

Eriksen’s current deal runs out in 2020 and Real could well capitalise on any uncertainty.
