Mo Salah ready to pursue personal interests rather than Liverpool’s ambition

Most people have this ingrained idea that Egypt is full of some magical powers which players use. The magic is famously known as “Ajuju.” This is exactly what Mohamed Salah is planning to use to sink Bayern Munich. But how effective will it be?

Mohamed Salah insists he is ready to put his personal Champions League dream aside – and go all out for the Premier League.

Liverpool and Manchester City are set to battle it out for the Premier League title with the Reds trailing by just a point.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are also in the last 16 of the Champions League but have been urged to put their focus on domestic matters.

Salah admits the Champions League remains his prime target having missed out in the final last season, but believes the rest of the club have different ambitions.

“I will be honest with you, the most prestigious competition for me is the Champions League,” the Egyptian said.

” But the dream for the entire city and the club is the league.

“So, I am happy to sacrifice my dream for their dream but if we win both that would great and this is what we are trying to do.”

Liverpool have the chance to steal an edge in the title race when they take on Fulham this weekend, with City in FA Cup action.

Salah admits his side may have to win all their remaining matches and hope that City slip up.

He added: “All you can do is win your games and hopefully they will fail in one so we can win the title.

“My mind is sharp and there is pressure but I am strong mentally and we just have to keep going.

“We will see what we can do at the end of the season but mentally I am ready for everything.”
