This comes after the Political Parties Tribunal extended conservatory orders barring ODM from expelling her pending the hearing and determination of the complaint she lodged at the tribunal.

The case will be heard on May 7.

He said the party’s top leadership is working with the government but it expelled Jumwa for associating with DP William Ruto.

“I want to tell this characters who pretend to be agents of democracy and they are lords presiding over the worst dictatorship in this republic that we will not watch our colleagues being sacrificed, tortured, as if they don’t belong to this country,” Murkomen said.

DP Ruto has now been reminded that he holds no lock on the Presidency and should therefore campaign using facts instead of trying to blackmail President Kenyatta. These are the thoughts of Nyeri MP Ngunjiri Wambugu.

Ruto and his allies have lately been judged as people trying to use the fight against corruption to advance their political agenda.

According to Ngunjiri, the fight against corruption will not be slowed down simply because William Ruto want’s to become Kenya’s President.

In a hard-hitting message to Ruto, the Nyeri Lawmaker has said that Ruto’s Presidential ambitions can be sacrificed but not the war on corruption.

“It is not written anywhere that he (Ruto) must be President,” Wambugu wrote on his Facebook Page.

“Kenya is more important than any single person’s ambition, including his (Ruto’s) ambition).”

Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambungu has launched fresh attacks directed towards DP William Ruto and his allies.

Ruto’s allies have been on a ranting spree with claims that the current fight against corruption is directed towards a particular community.

They have also claimed that Ruto’s Presidential bid is being scuffled as most of the people caught up in this whole corruption merry go round are his close allies with the latest one being CS Henry Rotich who is facing grave allagetions with regard to the Dams Scandal.

MP Wambugu has now said that no community was being targeted in the fight against corruption.

He said of the 115 already charged with corruption, 43 were Kikuyus, 18 Luos, 11 Kalenjins, six Kambas, six Merus and five from the Abagusii community. There are three Taitas and two each from Mijikenda and Aembu.

Borana, Sabaot, Ilchamus, Maasai, Duruma, Somali, Pokomo and Digo have one suspect each, Wambugu said.

He accused Kalenjin political leaders headed by Ruto, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen of trying to make Kenyans believe the anti-graft war was targeting their community.

He said none of the suspects stole public finds and shared the loot with their community.

Ruto and allies are facing strong criticisms for taking a swipe at the investigating agencies to frustrate the war on graft.
