Why ODM party wishes that its lost sheep members return home

The power of family can only come to mind when an enemy threatens your empire’s strength.Most will often come together to show the opponent that they are stronger in protection of one another.

When the Orange Democratic Party expelled Aisha Jumwa they were accused of being hypocrites hiding behind the handshake as many failed to believe that they would not forgive the stray cat

However the consequences of fallout and numbers has already been felt and thats why the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party is keen to welcome back members who  defected as part of its plans to strengthen it national chairman John Mbadi has said.

Mbadi said the party wants to forge ahead united as it gears up for the future elections.

He directed the party officials at the grassroots to avoid enforcing stringent rules that could create obstacle to the members who have shown interest of rejoining.

“The party officials should not be a stumbling block to the people who are willing to rejoin the party. We want to focus on how to strengthen the party at the grassroots,” he said.

Speaking in Ndhiwa sub-county, Homa Bay county on Saturday, Mbadi expressed concern that ODM has been experiencing reduced number of representatives at the National Assembly.
