The Jubilee marriage seem to have hitten the rocks and it is only a matter of time before a divorce is officially announced.

Two Camps have emerged in Jubilee, one loyal to President Kenyatta and the other one loyal to his Deputy William Ruto.

These two camps seemingly do not trust each other and have lately engaged each other in unending rants that have all but exposed the sorry state of the ruling coalition.

Team Ruto claim that President Kenyatta has joined forces with opposition Chief Raila Odinga to use the fight against corruption to scuffle DP Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid by painting him and his close allies as corrupt individuals who cannot be trusted with Public office.

Mount Kenya MPs on the other hand feel that DP Ruto and his “boys” are out to intimidate the President.

Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu said, “We need you to pray that the President gets the energy and strength to finish the battle he has begun.”

Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Jubilee’s senior-most representative in the Senate, termed the war against graft “a charade”.

“It is unfortunate that the project is being weaponised as a tool for 2022 political fights. It saddens me when I see the labelling of Kenyan citizens based on their ethnic identity as corrupt and the massive operation being mounted against one individual’s [Ruto’s] political ambitions,” Murkomen said bitterly in the Senate.

Political analysts say it’s only a matter of time before the Uhuru and Ruto camps clash in full-blown political warfare.
