Kenya Media mourning:Journalist Anthony Ngare among 149 victims of Ethiopian Airlines crash

The  Kenya Media fraternity is mourning the death of Journalist Anthony Ngare and Former Kenya football administrator Hussein Swaleh.

Mr Ngare had worked with Standard Media Group as an editor.

On the other hand,Mr Hussein Swaleh was a renowned sports administrator and was on his way home from Cairo where he was the Commissioner of a Caf Champions League match between Egyptian side Ismailia and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo played on Friday.

FKF president led heartfelt condolences for the man, who was once the Secretary General of Kenya Football Federation (KFF), the pre-cursor of the current local football association.

FKF NEC member for Easter Muriithi Nabea described Swaleh as an energetic and experienced administrator.

Kenya had the highest number of passengers aboard the Boeng 737-800 MAX aircraft that had individuals from 34 countries.

All the 149 passengers on board ET302 and 8 cabin were confirmed dead.

Also a Kenyan air hostess and her young son were victims of the ill fated Ethiopian airlines.
