Boni Khalwale implicates the late Michuki in the dam scandal

Former Senator Boni Khalwale has come to Deputy President William Ruto’s defence following the allegations that he is involved in the loss of Ksh 21 billion.

While speaking in Likuyani in Kakamega County, “Let the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and its leader Raila Odinga know that Ruto is not a beneficiary of these projects and is not even involved in the same.”

He claimed that the only money that has been paid has been paid to insurance companies set to cover the mega projects, and not even a single of the DP’s companies is involved.

He further added that only two insurance companies have been paid, linking the two to former Cabinet Ministers John Michuki and Charles Njonjo.

“The insurance companies that have been paid are owned one by John Michuki and the other by Charles Njonjo. And they have received billions of shillings,” he revealed.
