US had cautioned against the airport from which the crashed plane departed

The US Embassy in Ethiopia on Friday cautioned Americans residents to maintain a strategic distance from Bole International Airport, referring to arranged dissents.

The embassy said there were plans to organize a dissent in Meskel Square in Addis Ababa and the Oromia Region on Sunday.

“US travllers have been exhorted not to arrive or leave Bole International Airport on Sunday, March 10. US Embassy work force are likewise briefly denied from going to Oromia,” a notice on their site said.

The consulate later refreshed their caution on Saturday, saying US Government explorers could arrive or withdraw from Bole International Airport yesterday.

Specialists are as yet exploring what caused the Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 to crash.

The town was earlier known as Debre-Zeit, in Amharic, however since the late 1990s it has been authoritatively known by the Oromo name of Bishoftu.
