Red Hot Michael Olunga Scores Again in Japan

Michael Olunga’s 73rd minute goal was enough to gift his club Kashiwa Reysol all the three points in a J-League two match against Niigata.

Playing away from home, Kashiwa had to be at their best to overcome a very tricky side and bag all the three points that lifts them to the second position on the log, with only one goal separating them from Mito HollyHock.

The goal makes it three into matches for Olunga who bagged a brace in a 2-1 win over FC Tokyo on Wednesday.

Olunga is only coming back from an injury which made him miss the first two league matches but he has shown that he still has his predatory skills.

His club will need him to stay fit if they are to secure promotion back to the J-League after being relegated last season.
