Real Madrid eyeing sensational PSG star Neymar after a possible exit of Bale

Brazil and PSG star Neymar Jr. is a star in his own way, his move to the french side was much talked out about, he has being ruled out of play out of an injury which he is recuperating from and the rumors surrounding him have brought his memories back.

Neymar Jr. is the player Florentino Perez wants to help Real Madrid out of the current slump the club is going through, brought upon them by two sibling clubs, Barcelona and Ajax. He wants to make the Paris Saint-Germain the most expensive Galactico in his collection.

SPORT have learned that Real Madrid are prepared to spend 350 million euros to get the Brazilian out of PSG, where he still has three years on his contract. Los Blancos have been in touch with Neymar to explain their intentions.

Perez has lost patience with the club’s bet on youngsters and after being knocked out of the Copa del Rey, the La Liga title race and the Champions League in a week, he’s ready to take action.

Going for Neymar’s one of Perez’s planning errors (as Sergio Ramos complained about this week) when Cristiano Ronaldo left. No one was brought in to replace the Portugal star.

Bringing in Neymar will help on the pitch but also off it. Perez wants to go for a unique player who is capable of exciting fans and tourists who go to the Bernabeu. He’s convinced that his offer, historical in football, will be irresistable for PSG’s owners Qatar Sports Investments.

He also feels Neymar will be unable to turn it down, even if he did reject Madrid previously in 2011 and 2013, when he moved to Barcelona.

Perez’s move for Neymar is all or nothing. As well as the transfer fee, he will also improve the ex-Barça forward’s wage packed. Neymar currently earns 36 million euros annually in Paris (another issue is the other contracts he has with Qatar) and Madrid would pay 45 million euros over five seasons, with a record release clause.

Neymar wouldn’t just become the most expensive footballer on the planet (he already is, since his 222 milliion euro move to PSG) but the best paid, replacing Lionel Messi.

Madrid know PSG aren’t a selling club as Barça have found out but they feel things are different this time. The injection of 350 million euros would allow the French club to invest elsewhere, settle their FFP concerns and show income which is not just petro-dollars. That reinvestment would enable them to prevent another Champions League embarrassment, which is what they’re becoming known for.

Madrid are going for Neymar, despite PSG’s resistance, because hey feel the deal is do-able . That’s not the case with Kylian Mbappe. For the moment, he does not want to leave France. In addition, the young World Cup winner is becoming the flagship at PSG.
