Kenyans roast Murkomen for attacking DPP Noordin Haji

‘Let the investigation agencies do their work!’ That statement has dominated most political discussions this week.

Everyone wants those who have looted public funds to be brought to book. But looters are putting pressure on the investigative agencies arguing that they’re being politically targeted.

The hottest potato in Kenya is the Kimwarer and Arror Dams scandals where more than sh 21 billion was lost with nothing to show for it.

As the DPP and DCI try to get to the bottom of the scandal, Kipchumba Murkomen has been making a lot of noise on social media.

On Friday, the Senator found himself on the wrong end of the wrath of Kenyans after accusing the DPP of having glaring errors in his statement.

1.I welcome the acknowledgment by the DPP that matters project financing especially where syndicated loans are involved are complex.Though we have few experts in this area, I hope DPP will do everything 2 ensure that the truth is unearthed. There’re glaring errors in the statement https://t.co/ZwrHORF6zg— KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN, E.G.H (@kipmurkomen) March 8, 2019

And Kenyans turned on him after this statement:

Why are you at pains to explain this matter are you one of the investigators??— Kayooh Seth (@kayoo_braddens) March 8, 2019

You have the right to remain silent. Everything you say can/may be used against you— Abdirahman Nurow (@abumubarak1977) March 8, 2019

if you have put your hand in the public cookie jar, the moment you cease enjoying state protection you’ll be put behind bars and it’s around the corner. You guys thought situations last forever.— The Other Guy (@david_odu) March 8, 2019
