” We must forge a more balanced community, nation and world by increasing opportunities available to women; investing resources to enhance their earnings and promoting their role in leadership and decision making.” Ruto said on his official Twitter handle.

Amplifying their voice; accelerating gender parity; financial inclusion; supporting mobilisation; overcoming stereotypes and challenging bias are critical interventions in fostering women’s empowerment and inspiring next generation of women leaders. #BalanceForBetter #IWD2019— William Samoei Ruto, PhD (@WilliamsRuto) March 8, 2019
