Raila excites Kenyans following his live interview

AU Envoy Raila Odinga has excited Kenyans following his recent interview in one of the vernacular radio stations to shed light on a variety of national issues that continue to pop up in the political scene.

The interview saw Raila explain to the nation what they have been upto with president Kenyatta in terms of development.

Among the issues the ODM leader discussed include the 2022 succession politics which he dismissed as ‘irrelevant’ at the moment saying endless politicking doesn’t help the country, adding it is time to work for the electorates.

On the ongoing anti-graft war, Raila reiterated that no one is above the law while rubbishing claims that the fight has been skewed and is only targeting DP William Ruto and his allies.

“There is no discrimination in the war against corruption. Nobody is being targeted especially on the dams scandal as some have been going around saying. All we are asking for is accountability,” he said.

Raila also spoke on the ongoing rift in Jubilee Party, saying that is not the business that brought him to government.

“Jubilee have their own guidelines and processes that they follow just as we have in ODM. If there is a problem, they know what to do and I do not see how I feature there,” he added.

However, Raila’s appearance on Kameme FM seems to have elicited excitement among listeners with some affirming that indeed the handshake was working.
