Police in Kakamega are investigating how a Masinde Muliro Student died alone in his room on Wednesday.
Peter Kamotho, a 25 year old student studying a degree in Commerce Finance was found dead in his rental house around the university on Wednesday.
“The victim had travelled to his residential place on Tuesday before he died on Wednesday.” Dr. Lydia Anyonje, The University’s Director of Public Relations confirmed.
According to neighbours, the 25- year- old who hails from Kericho County has been ailing for some time and they had informed his parents to come and take him to hospital before he died.
Police are waiting for a postmortem to determine cause of death.
