New sports CS Amina mourns athlete Daniel Rudisha with deep sadness

Daniel Rudisha, father of two-time Olympic champion David Rudisha, passes on after succumbing to heart attack in Kilgoris.

Newly appointed sports cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has revealed that she has learnt with deep sadness about the passing of Kenya’s legendary sprinter Mzee Daniel Rudisha,1968 4x400m relay Olympic Silver Medalist.

She further stated that he played an instrumental role in pioneering Kenya’s success in short distance running, inspiring a new generation of champions.”
