Manchester United fans will absolutely love what Cesc Fabregas said about their win against PSG

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has defended Manchester United’s win over Paris Saint Germain while rebuffing claims that they did not deserve to advance into the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Fabregas is currently on the books of French club AS Monaco after making the switch in the January transfer window from Chelsea. The Spaniard bagged two Premier League titles during his time in England while playing for the Blues, having first broken through at Arsenal as a youngster before returning to Barcelona, the club that had developed him as an academy player.

In a Twitter exchange between former Arsenal and Real Madrid forward Julio Bapista, Fabregas defended United’s win over PSG, “Everyone plays with their guns and United had at least eight casualties of very important players. They left juvenile boys in the last 20 because they had nothing else. Have you been lucky? Yes. But they deserve respect for fighting and believing until the end.”

The Spanish midfielder has never won the Champions League during his illustrous career which saw him have stints at Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea. He was however a very big part of the Arsenal team that lost the 2006 final in Paris to Barcelona.
