Jadon Sancho Sends a Heartwarming Message to Rashford After Scoring A Penalty

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was hailed by Jadon Sancho for his cool late penalty last night.

United upset the odds by producing a 3-1 win over PSG in Paris to progress to the quarter finals on away goals.

England international Rashford bagged a controversial injury-time penalty after Diogo Dalot’s shot caught Presnel Kimpembe on the arm.

Sancho, who is pals with Rashford from the national team set-up, posted on his Instagram story a picture of him watching the game along with a high five emoji and a link to the United star.

It’s been claimed a £100m summer swoop could be on the cards.

Ironically, PSG have also been touted as potential suitors. The 18-year-old is already on nine goals and nine assists for the season.

ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno, however, has warned that Sancho wouldn’t have an easy life at United.

“I don’t quite see it to Manchester United just yet,” Moreno said.

“Let’s not forget that Manchester United just invested in Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial and [Jesse] Lingard is there as well.

“So you’ve already put a lot of money into different assets that match very well what Jadon Sancho brings to the team.

“So therefore he may be on the move, I just don’t think it’s to Manchester United.

“If I’m him, I’m having a good time a good time in what I’m doing in Dortmund and I’m achieving success at Dortmund.

“Maybe I continue to mature at Dortmund where I know I’m going to play, I’m going to get opportunities, I continue to grow as a player.

“I don’t think it’s his time to go anywhere.”

If United were to swoop for Sancho this summer, the talented forward – who was previously on the books at Manchester City – will be joining a team on the up.

Despite still officially being in temporary charge, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he wants United to go all the way in the Champions League.

“Of course we fancy ourselves,” he told reporters after last night’s historic triumph.

“We can go all the way but we just have to wait for the draw and then take the game as it comes.

“We’ve had loads of injuries, suspensions but that was maybe a good thing, we had a fresh team, loads of energy.”
