Dancehall star Vybz Kartel is back at the St Catherine prison hours after he was rushed to the hospital following a health scare.
According to reports from Jamaica, the incarcerated star was rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies on Tuesday, March 5, to receive treatment for an undisclosed health condition.
News of his illness threw his worldwide fans into panic mode with thousands of them taking to social media to wish him well.
Daily Active established the Gaza leader was released hours after he was checked in at the hospital after doctors confirmed his condition was not life-threatening. The same was confirmed by the singer’s attorney, Valarie Neita Robertson, who admitted the singer was indeed not feeling well.
“He has a condition and he was not feeling well. He was not admitted. It’s not serious. He will be escorted back to prison later this afternoon,” Neita told Loop Jamaica.
