We’ve done it before!Marcos Reus sends Tottenham a Warning ahead of their UCL clash

The UEFA Champions League returns this week with common teams caught up in the mix after failing to stamp their presence in the first leg although they still believe they can overturn things upside down.

Manchester United are already in France for a clash with PSG trailing down two goals while Tottenham who seem to have lost the grip in the English Premier Leaague go to Germany to face Bayern Munich after a 3-0 win at home a score Marcos Reus believes can be thwarted.

Marco Reus has warned Borussia Dortmund are ready to “achieve the impossible” by knocking Tottenham out of the Champions League.

Tottenham take a three goal lead from the first leg but Reus claims the famous yellow wall of noise in Dortmund can still blow Mauricio Pochettino’s men away.

Dortmund midfielder Reus said: “We have played many games in this stadium where we’ve written history and we are in position to achieve the impossible.

“It is important to believe in ourselves, and give a great performance. We need to find the right balance between defence and attack. We need to reach our peak, and score the goals in the right moment. But we believe in ourselves.”

Germany star Reus missed the first leg through injury but is fit to face Tottenham and also believes he can help turn their own sticky patch of form around.

Bayern Munich have caught themselves up in the Bundesliga title race while Dortmund suffered a shock defeat to Augsburg last week. They have been struggling for form like Spurs.

But Reus added: “We’re not satisfied with results at the moment but we are generally in a good situation, especially in the Bundesliga. In the last few weeks we’ve lost unnecessary points because we made too many mistakes.

“It’s important to be positive and really work hard and watch all the games and learn from mistakes. It’s very important to stop the mistakes because we know we can always score in attack.

“We have to be stronger, come out stronger; have the right mentality. We’ve shown that, I think we’ll come out of this situation.”
